Meet Luna! She's a stunning husky mix who found herself at the Whitmore Animal Shelter through no fault of her own. Her owner loved her dearly, and we want to honor them for that. They were experiencing tremendous hardship and made the selfless decision to surrender her so Luna could be provided with more attention and exercise.<br/><br/>Luna is a beautiful girl with piercing sky blue eyes and a luxurious coat. She is an avid shedder and needs a home that views dog hair as an accessory, not an inconvenience. <br/><br/>Her personality is quite mellow for a husky, although she was reported to jump fences and experience that husky wanderlust from time to time so her new home will need a secure yard and a watchful eye to keep her safe. She's also quiet for a husky, we truly haven't heard a peep out of this girl since her intake; it could be that the shelter environment is just very overstimulating for her.
