LUNA came to the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH as a stray and this wasn’t her first time here. She’d been at the pound before and that time, her owner came for her. This time, he didn’t. She waited. Her stray hold came and went, but no one came thru the door for her. And that, folks, is his loss, because whoever eventually does walk through that door and chooses LUNA is going to get one special dog. LUNA is 3 years old, well-mannered, and listens well. She loves people, big, small, old, and young. She’s good with other dogs and we know that at one point, she lived with another dog. One of the best things about LUNA is how easily she fits into your world. She’s happy to make your interests her interests. Want to go for a walk? She’s ready. Want to explore the yard? She’ll join you. Want to hike? She’ll be your companion. Want to spend the afternoon sprawled on the couch? Move over and make room. LUNA is game. LUNA likes to be out and about, but when it’s time to go back in her kennel, you only have to tell her once. No back talk or negotiating. She simply goes. She isn’t demanding or opinionated. She doesn’t need to be the center of attention every minute. She just wants to be loved.
