Luna's Story
Luna is a beautiful German Shepherd/Husky mix who is a year and a half old and full of life! She came to us after her family made the difficult decision to surrender her. Luna was simply too playful for their senior dog, who had undergone surgery on both knees. Luna loved having a canine friend to play with and wanted to spend all day wrestling and running, but it became too much for the older dog to keep up with.

Luna is a happy, energetic girl who loves making friends. She appears to enjoy the company of other dogs of all sizes and would likely thrive in a home with a playful canine companion. She is also learning her leash manners and is making great progress every day.

Luna seems to be potty trained, is spayed, and is current on her vaccines. She weighs 52 pounds. She has a sweet, friendly personality and would fit well into many different types of families. Because she's still young and enthusiastic, she may occasionally jump up when excited, especially around small children, but she is eager to learn and could easily be taught better manners with consistency and training.

If you're looking for a loyal, active companion who is always ready for an adventure, Luna may be the perfect addition to your family!
