This talkative lady is looking for a nice forever home. As a husky she has plenty of energy, her favorite toys are balls to chase and rope toys to tug. Luna would also love walks, though just be mindful of your surroundings as she has already showed us that she would love to chase some rabbits too. Despite huskies being known for their stubborn nature, Luna had been taught quite a few commands. This lady knows the commands "sit", "down", "paw", "roll over", "be shy", and "kennel". Luna has been around kids and cats for most of her life, she hasn't been around dogs however she has been showing signs that she would be fine with another dog in a new house with proper introductions.<br/><br/>She can not stay in Storm Lake, IA. Luna has to be outside of the city limits.

Lake Animal Hospital / Shelter's Adoption Policy

Lake Animal's Adoption Policy. We are an extremely busy Animal Hospital and don’t have time to show dogs to walk-ins. We require an adoption application to be filled out first. You can indicate on the application which animals you are interested in and after reviewing your Adoption Application which can be found at www.mylakeanimalhospital.com under the "Adoptions Tab" or “Clients" tab . If you are approved we will call & visit with you about the potential pets you are interested in. We will then set up an appointments, usually on weekends or after hours for viewing the animals. We work through applications in the order we receive them and since we are an Hospital first, it can take us awhile just due to the day to day business. We aren't looking for impulse adopters. We are looking for life long homes for these wonderful animals.
