Luna's Story

Can we talk about Luna for a minute?!

This sweet girl was relinquished at the shelter by her owner, and her face said it all — the person she loved most, the one she trusted with her whole heart, walked away. She didn’t understand why. She didn’t know what she did wrong. All she knew was that she was being left behind… at a kill shelter, no less.

We may never know the circumstances that led her there, but what we did know — instantly — was that we had to step in. No hesitation. No questions.
So we did a courtesy pull and saved sweet Luna.

We don’t know her whole story yet, but we know the most important part: she is safe now, and she will never again be left to wonder whether someone cares. We will not turn our backs on her.

This sweet girl decided it was time to introduce herself, and now we’re excited to learn all about her and help her find a family to call her own.

What we know so far about Luna Bell:
• 🐶 6 years old
• ⚖️ Petite girl — pictures don’t do her justice, around 40-ish pounds
• 🐕 Dog-friendly — met Tater on leash and did well
• 🕰️ She’ll meet more pups once she has a little time to decompress
• 🦆 Possible high prey drive… the ducks definitely have her attention

Stay tuned as we get to know Luna Bell better. We have a feeling this girl is going to steal some hearts and land herself a very sweet forever home.

This girl is absolutely stunning. I’m pretty sure we’ve got a water girl on our hands—she tried her very best to convince me to go swimming with her!

Luna Bell is still learning a few things: stairs seem to be new to her, and I’d guess furniture wasn’t allowed in her past life. But she’s catching on quickly and doing so well.

✨ No accidents in the house or kennel
✨ Knows sit and touch
✨ Very treat motivated
✨ Incredibly sweet, gentle soul

Such a sweet, sweet girl with so much love to give.

Here’s to your fresh start, Luna. The best is yet to come.
