Luna's Story

LUNA is a 2 year old German Shepherd (DOB 3/17/24) who came to us when her family had to give her up due to landlord issues. She appears to have been well loved and is taking all of the life changes in stride. Luna is very people friendly and doesn't seem to be fazed by the noise and activity level of a household with kids. She hopped right into the car to head to her foster home and has been settling in nicely. She is food motivated, knows sit and crates quietly overnight. She is not hyper and is happy to entertain herself with toys. On leash, she is strong and will pull like an ox so she'll benefit from continued training and guidance. She can be dog reactive on walks but had a play date with Enzo Ferrari (also available for adoption) and did well, so she could likely live with another dog with proper intros. There is a dog savvy cat in her foster home and sometime she ignores him and other times she will chase. Zero aggression but she would probably be too much for a shy or timid cat.

Luna has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested (negative). Adoption $350.
