Luna's Story
Name: Luna
Breed: Australian Cattle Dog Mix
Sex: Spayed Female
Age: 6 years
Weight: 39 lbs
Animal Number: 4648

Sweet, Energetic, Eager to Please, Well Behaved - Has Medical Needs

Good with dogs? Yes, Luna is very good with dogs of all sizes and types. She can be a little hesitant and cautious at first, then makes friends and enjoys playtime.

Good with cats? Not Tested, but she is driven to chase small animals such as squirrels, bunnies and birds, so she should probably not be around cats.

Good with kids? Yes, she has met children and calmly enjoyed gentle petting and handling.

Energy level: Medium to High. She enjoys playtime in the yard and two daily walks. She would be a great partner for hikes! When she is not out walking, she’s very chill in the house and enjoys relaxing. She likes playing with other dogs but has not yet shown an interest in toys.

Medical needs: Luna has Addison’s disease and takes medicine that is very successfully managing her symptoms. She takes a daily low-dose steroid medication as well as a monthly injection.

Animal Characteristics: Luna is such a sweet, energetic girl who is easy to please. She’s a great hiking buddy and couch buddy. She is a little shy about meeting new people and dogs at first, but she warms up quickly and is very friendly! She knows basic commands and is very trainable for continued commands and tricks. She is potty trained, does not need to be crated, and is OK while riding in a car. She will bark when a new person comes to the door or when she’s talking to her doggie friends. Luna has a lovely personality and is so well behaved! She will be a wonderful pet!

Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. My adoption fee is $300. You can also contact my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org if you have questions. I look forward to meeting you!
