She has spent the past three years in foster care with two long-term fosters and is now in urgent need of a new foster or forever home due to circumstances completely outside of her control.<br/><br/>Luna’s current foster planned to adopt her, but recently lost his job and must leave town for work next weekend. He will be living in a motel and working long shifts, leaving him unable to care for Luna. Unfortunately, this means Luna has run out of options and needs immediate placement.<br/><br/>About Luna<br/>Luna is a loyal, affectionate, and highly intelligent dog who forms strong bonds with her people. She thrives on companionship and is happiest when she feels secure with her person.<br/><br/>She is very food-motivated and responds well to training. Luna walks nicely on a leash but can become excited when she sees other dogs, as she wants to meet them. Due to her size and strength, continued structure and guidance are important.<br/><br/>In the home, Luna is calm and relaxed. She is comfortable being left alone, is x-pen trained, and settles easily on the couch. She enjoys sunbathing, wading in water, and playing fetch.
