Lumira (Lulu)'s Story

Lumira (Lulu or Lu) is ready for her forever home! She is a pocket sized adventure lab (mix). At 50 pounds, she will bound right into your car for a ride, and your heart. She loves meeting all new people and dogs, but walks like she is on a mission, and doesn’t need to greet every passerby or dog.

She is high energy, and requires multiple miles of walking/running, playing with friends or playing fetch each day. She is both intelligent and treat motivated, but also struggles with associating words (like walk or ball- but she understands cues, so you’d barely know!)

She is full of puppy quirks like chasing bugs and falling off couches. She is a joyous little pup who has never met a stranger and is happy for attention, or a doggy playdate.

She currently sleeps in the crate, and doesn’t beg for table food... unless you’re eating a sweet treat like ice cream or cookies. She is crate trained and can be left alone for at least 6 hours (likely more), house broken and really working on obedience... but is just too easily excitable to sit to put on her leash. She’s still working on proper leash donning etiquette.

If you’re looking for an adorable, fun, athletic girl, look no further. Lulu will melt your heart while helping to get you fit.

You can read about Lulu's time in foster care on her blog: https://brooklinelabrescue.org/blog/lumira-black-labrador-mix-female-1-2-years-old-id3780/

PLEASE NOTE: While this Lab may not be available for adoption by the time you complete the adoption process, other great Labs are always finding their way into our Rescue.

For more information on this Lab, please contact INFO@BROOKLINELABRESCUE.ORG.

If you are interested in adopting this Lab or any other Lab from our Rescue, please visit our Web site, www.brooklinelabrescue.org, for more information on our adoption process.
