Lumi

Meet Lumi, a very sweet and happy 8 month old female pointer mix. Generally friendly, Lumi can sometimes take a little bit to warm up to people and dogs but what a gem she is. Lumi found her way into a shelter as a stray -- so hard to believe -- but she's very happy that the kind folks at NEBR came to her rescue. Lumi is very playful and loves toys, like any 8 month old and she loves the water but hasn't been tested for swimming. We're thinking she would probably be ok but, as always, wise to use a life vest. Lumi came to us with a previously fractured leg, so her gait is a little "wonky," but that doesn't slow her down a bit. <br/>She's a happy, active pup!<br/><br/>Lumi is crate trained and house trained and she is fine with other dogs and even dog savvy cats. She's also fine with children. <br/><br/>Lumi has been spayed, is up to date with her vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on prevention.
