Meet Lula! This beautiful 5 year old labrador mix came to us from a local shelter after she was surrendered through no fault of her own. Lula lived with her family for her entire life, until she was carelessly surrendered because she didn't want to play with the new children in the home. She preferred a quiet, easygoing lifestyle, so when her owners realized she wouldn't play with them, she wound up in a shelter. Now, Lula is understandably shy and reserved as she grapples with her new reality. Despite her ordeal, she is a gentle and sweet soul. Lula is presumably housetrained, walks well on a leash, and gets along with other dogs. She deserves so much more from this life, and we are determined to see her get it!<br/><br/>We promised Lula that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life.
