The result? An affectionate, smart, people-loving pup with a fun, playful streak.

Luke absolutely adores people and does great with other dogs. He’d be happy in a home with canine companions or as your one-and-only best friend. He walks nicely on leash and enjoys getting out to explore the world by your side.

He’s very food motivated (training treats are his love language!) and is currently working on his basic manners in his foster home. With his eagerness to please and love of snacks, he’s a great candidate for continued positive reinforcement training.

A few important notes:

No chickens or small livestock — they’re not a good fit for Luke.

He has skin allergies and will likely require lifelong medication to keep him comfortable and itch-free. With consistent care, he does very well.

Luke is looking for a committed, loving home that will continue his training, manage his allergies, and include him as part of the family. If you’re ready for a loyal, social, happy-go-lucky companion, Luke is ready to meet you!
