Luke Skybarker

In his foster home, Luke was happiest when sitting at someone's feet or lying with that someone on the couch. He routinely carried a stuffed toy everywhere he went and wagged his tale constantly, especially when told he was a good boy. He loves to stick by his person - follow from room to room with his toy, only to lie down and wait for the next place you're both going!<br/><br/>He loves receiving kisses and physical affection. He will gently nudge my hand for more pets all over.<br/><br/>Luke is such a well-mannered and polite dog. He waits his turn when getting treats with the other dogs and is kind with other smaller and older dogs. He responds to verbal cues and is easily redirected to another activity when he was hoping to get the older dachshund to chase him.<br/><br/>He does very well on leashed walks - just fine with other dogs, people, cars or loud random noises. He does love chasing squirrels and hunting chipmunks, so that is something to keep in mind when enjoying the outdoors.<br/><br/>Luke would do really well both with a person who wants a lot of one-on-one time or a family with other dogs. We cannot stress enought that he is happiest whenever he can be next to somebody and receive pets.
