🐾 Meet Luke & Dylan – A Sweet, Bonded Duo Looking for Their Forever Home<br/><br/>Luke and Dylan (11 yo males) are an affectionate, gentle bonded pair who have been together their entire lives. These two boys were deeply loved by their owner, who unfortunately can no longer care for them and entrusted us to help them find the next chapter of their lives—together.<br/><br/>❤️ Luke is the larger red boy with a heart as big as he is. He is incredibly affectionate and happiest when curled up on a lap, soaking up pets and attention. Luke is also a devoted little guardian and will happily alert his people to outside noises. He enjoys walks and does very well in a freedom harness with minimal pulling. Social and curious, Luke loves meeting new people and other dogs and definitely has a bit of FOMO (fear of missing out!). He eats well and often finds comfort lying right next to his brother, Dylan.<br/><br/>🫣 Dylan, the smaller tan boy, is a bit shy at first but quickly warms up and reveals his playful, happy personality. He’s a champion cuddler and will gently grab your hand if you stop petting him too soon. One of his favorite moves is what we lovingly call the “Dylan Smash”—a full‑body hug where he presses his face and neck into his favorite person. Dylan has thinner fur and loves sunbathing, so he wears dog‑safe sunscreen daily. He enjoys shorter walks and is perfectly content being carried when he gets tired. Dylan does have some arthritis, which is currently well managed with daily medication.<br/><br/>Both boys are accustomed to wearing belly bands when their humans are away. Dylan has more sensitive skin, so we use a healing cream to prevent chafing. While they were not crated in their previous home, they are doing wonderfully crated together in foster care when left alone. They are crated without belly bands and have had no accidents in the crate. They do great left able to see the resident dogs, who are also crated when unattended.<br/><br/>At night, Luke and Dylan love sleeping in bed with their people, tucked under the blankets. Luke may ask to go outside once during the night and then happily returns to bed—Dylan tags along for those nighttime outings too.<br/><br/>Due to having only a few teeth left after multiple dentals, the boys enjoy canned food and soft treats. Favorites include chicken hearts and beef lung, and they eat politely using a slow feeder. Their foster mom has also added glucosamine chews to their daily routine for joint support.<br/><br/>Luke and Dylan get along beautifully with the resident greyhound and Italian greyhound in foster care and have previously lived with other small dogs without issue.
