At around 2 years old and 35 pounds, Luke is the perfect medium-sized companion. His giant ears and adorable stubby legs make him impossible not to smile at! He's a gentle guy who's a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a few minutes and you'll see his sweet personality shine through. Luke has a calm, easygoing nature. He walks nicely on a leash, gets along well with other dogs, and is happiest spending time with people who let him settle in at his own pace. Once he knows you're a friend, he's a loyal, loving companion. If you're looking for a quiet, kind-hearted dog who just needs a little patience to show you how wonderful he is, Luke might be the perfect match. Come meet Luke--you'll quickly discover that those big ears are just one of the many things to love about him. ❤️Adoption Hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Our main goal is to place animals in the right home to increase owner retention. For example, we would avoid placing a highly active dog into a sedentary home. Our application does not allow for anyone to apply for a specific animal, it is more of a questionnaire so that it has people think about what they are looking for. Such as an active dog vs a calm dog or a dog that needs grooming often vs a short haired dog. We just want to make the right match for your household.
