When you first meet Lukas, he tries to convince you that he is a tough guy by tugging a little on the leash and looking across the bark park as he ignores you. But he is not really that good at that façade. As we approached the park and picked out his bandana of the day, he paused and stood close as the formality was conducted. When he was allowed to check out the surroundings, it didn’t take long for him to find an agreeable squeaky to join him in a bark park tour. One-year-old Lukas is a quiet canine who performs a requested sit on request... most of the time. He will occasionally “sneak up” and give a soft bump of his nose on your hand while studying you with an inquiring gaze, hoping for more playtime opportunities. At the end of the photo session, Lukas spontaneously laid down at the foot of the human as his bio was being penned.
