Luffy's Story

Little Luffy is so stinkin cute I can’t stand it!!! Luffy is 2 yrs old 10lbs and such a sweetheart. He has congenital renal failure but we have done bloodwork and compared it to the previous two weeks when he was with an owner and it’s improved slightly. He’s now on the correct food and an anticoagulant and omegas. And he’s with the infamous Carla as his foster now so we know this guy will be spoiled and taught everything. Luffy is a maltipoo and crate and leash trained. He’s great with all humans and animals. Perfect little lovebug. We’d like to offer Luffy for no adoption fee because he’ll need lifetime special food and six month blood and urine checkups. Luffy is now groomed and utd on rabies sbd heartworm. He cannot safely be neuteted due to his renal condition. If you’d like to help with Luffys current vetting and medication and special diet please use Zelle 7046509653 or Venmo Colleen-Sowers-1 (mine has no picture and must be typed exactly as I posted). Please apply to adopt Luffy at www.peanutsplacerescue.org click application scroll down til it appears. Text 7046509653 if already approved.

Luffy had a full check up yesterday. Even though the owner ran full bloodwork two weeks ago we ran another full panel and his levels have improved significantly so we now have more hope that his congenital renal failure can be managed and improved with proper diet so he can live a lot longer. Luffy is only 2 yrs old and has been with several owners already who didn’t understand why he peed so much so they kept giving him away. Luffy is here now and delightful. We did a rabies yesterday and he gets groomed Monday. He’s now on renal support food and an anticoagulant. Luffy is a fabulous dog. Good with everyone. He’s 10lbs and a poodle mix. Quiet sweet crate and leash trained and despite him having kidney disease he’s successfully held his bladder for me overnights. During the day he can wear a diaper for safety of your home and with frequent potty breaks he does amazing. At this time he cannot be safely neutered. Luffy is ready for a foster home now. Please apply at www.peanutsplacerescue.org click application scroll down it’ll appear.
