Lucy (Senior)'s Story
Lucy is a 13-year-old black-and-tan senior dachshund.

She was previously diagnosed with polyarthritis, but wasn't on steroids when she arrived. She has a partially lame front paw, which was likely congenitally deformed. Her mobility is better with the help of prednisone.

Lucy is spayed, but has 3 mammary masses that are consistent with cancer. When she gets her dental, we will do X-rays to see if she has any masses internally.

This girl gets along well with other small dogs and would love a quiet home where she can sit in a comfy bed and bark at the deliveryman.

To be considered for Lucy "Senior" (We have 2 Lucy's at the moment), please apply on our website:

https://www.portlanddachshundrescue.org/adoptionform
