Lucy - in New England 's Story

Meet Lucy💕💕

Lucy is a fiesty, fun little girl who is thriving in her foster home. She is 13 weeks old and weighs in at 22ish pounds. Lucy came north with her brother Milo and the consensus is they are likely Anatolian Shepherd mixes. True to the breed, Lucy can be a little hesitant in new situations, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up. She hasn’t yet met a dog she doesn’t like and will definitely benefit from having a confident pup in her new home to help show her the way.

Lucy sleeps through the night in her crate and does great when left for short stints throughout the day. She is making strides with potty training and she is VERY food motivated so she will likely be a quick study to learn new things. We cannot stress enough how important it will be to provide ongoing training as it is a wonderful bonding experience for both pup and human.

Lucy will benefit greatly from having a patient family who will work with her to show her how great her life will be.
Because she sometimes startles when she hears a loud noise we feel a fenced yard would be optimum. Its fun to watch her look up in amazement when the Canadian Geese fly overhead squawking 😊

Lucy has been exploring the neighborhood where she currently lives, walking at least one mile per day. She has met people of all ages but the pups draw her in 💕

If you believe you might be the perfect place for Lucy to call home, please complete an adoption application and someone from the team will be in touch!

Lucy’s highlights:
• 13 weeks old
• Female mixed breed
• A little shy at first but gaining confidence every day
• Playful, curious, and full of puppy energy
• Recently arrived and adjusting to life away from her siblings
• Ready to grow and bond with her forever family

Lucy is just beginning her next chapter — and she can’t wait to meet the people who will help her continue to blossom. 🐶💛

Apply at www.goldenhuggs.org

GHR ONLY ADOPTS TO ADULTS OVER THE AGE OF 25 AND PUPPIES WHERE CHILDREN ARE OVER THE AGE OF 6 AND TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE TIME FOR THEM.

It doesn't matter where the pups are from; it only matters where they live the rest of their lives. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application at www.goldenhuggs.org, this is the first step in the process. The adoption fee $475 which includes age appropriate shots, and a microchip.
A $175 refundable deposit against altering is required.

For more information or to complete an application please got to www.goldenhuggs.org
