Lucy - In CT's Story

Meet Lucy, a sweet 5.5-month-old Lab mix with an incredible spirit. This sweet southern belle is now in her foster home. Her foster Mom says: We are having a blast with Lucy, straight off the truck she was sweet and goofy. She is an absolute sweetheart and loves cuddling and belly rubs. She gets along with everyone, and my dog and my cats. Lucy is very easy to have around. She is quiet- she rarely barks- and is happy to lounge around the house most of the day. She does like to play and run around when we go outside, but she is gentle and submissive, and she wants to be where the people are- she has no interest in bolting or wandering. She’s good on a leash. Lucy is lightning quick when she runs across the backyard, but very graceful at the same time. She is the kind of dog who would have fun with agility training. I think she’d be a great first dog for a family with young kids. She’s going to make somebody a really great dog. Yay Lucy — your happy new chapter is beginning! To invite Lucy to join your family, apply now with a free application @ www.americanlabrescue.com.

Lucy and her brother, Charlie, were found abandoned at a dumpster in a rural area, but she has not let her difficult beginning dim her loving nature. Her brother Charlie has been adopted and Lucy is next! This precious girl has traded survival for snuggles and discovered the joy of being loved in her foster home. Lucy is looking forward to a forever home filled with kindness, playtime, and plenty of love. Be it running in the backyard, joining the family for a lively walk, or cuddling up after a day full of fun, Lucy is the perfect companion. She is current with her vaccinations and heartworm negative. She currently weighs about 20 pounds. If you are looking for a loyal new best friend to grow up by your side, Lucy may be the perfect addition to your family.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources Import License to Operate a Rescue Organization License #0071

State of Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management Certificate of Registration for Rescue/Category A License #0075

State of Connecticut Animal Importer Registration Number AIR.000.101
