Hello! Meet Lucy, a 7 month old kelpie mix. She's so friendly and sweet. She loves to play and she's a fast learner and very treat motivated. She is dog social, but still learning how to interact with other dogs. Staff believe that with a slow introduction that she could live with another dog in the home. City of Elk Grove Animal Services's Adoption Policy

Visitors are welcome to browse any time we are open. If you see a pet you are interested in adopting, please ask a staff member or volunteer to take them out of the kennel for a meet and greet. You will be asked to fill out a short questionnaire to help guide your personalized adoption counseling session. If all seems like a good match, you will sign the paperwork, pay the adoption fee, and take your new pet home same day!
