Lucy's Story
MEET LUCY FOSTERED IN EAST BEND, NC!

Lucy is a two-year-old, 12-pound Shih Tzu looking for her forever home. Are you that very special person that can give Lucy a patient loving home?

Lucy did not have the greatest start in life, but she is learning how to be a dog and live in a home. Lucy came from a puppy mill and she is timid. It will take time for Lucy to warm up and learn the ropes in our home but once she is comfortable. She will be your constant companion!

Lucy is potty and crate trained. She uses a doggie door to go potty. She has free reign of the house when her foster family is not home, and she may use a puppy pad if needed during that time.

Lucy is learning the leash and walks with her foster mom. She sleeps with her foster mom in the big bed. Lucy is great with the other little dogs in the home, she enjoys laying on top of the sofa and looking out the picture window.

Lucy is not suited for young children. She would do best with an all-adult home or a family with dog savvy children above the age of 10 years.

Lucy is not suited for apartment life. A fenced in yard is a must with Lucy - no exceptions.

We do conduct vet references, home visits and personal interviews.

Please complete our application under the rescue's information on this site.
