Meet Lucy! Lucy would love a home for the holidays! Lucy is a senior St. Bernard. She weighs about 104 pounds and is 8 years old. Lucy came from a breeding mill where she lived her whole life, but Lucy sure adjusted quickly. Lucy is now spayed and fully vetted. Lucy is in foster care with dogs of all ages and sizes. She does great with all the dogs, but we think she'd do best with calmer passive dogs. Lucy is past the age of rolling around with puppies. She prefers to be cozy on the couch with other canine companions and humans. Lucy is potty trained and enjoys the back yard. At first, Lucy did not know how to climb stairs. But she is a fast learner, and within days Lucy learned how to use the stairs. As resources allow, we pull dogs from shelters and pounds. At TRI, we do not discriminate against any breeds. We adopt out our dogs based on the home that is the best fit. We do meet and greets and home visits to ensure the dog is a proper match for your human, canine and feline family members. Each TRI dog is assigned an adoption consultant who handles the adoption for that dog.
