AN INTERVIEW WITH LUCY, A 2-YEAR-OLD, 65 POUND BEAUTY<br/> LOOKING FOR HER FUREVER<br/><br/>It’s Friday Night? What are your plans? Whatever my foster mom wants to do is great with me, as long as I'm with her.<br/><br/>If you were a dessert, what would you be? An Upside Down Pineapple Cake... I would already be turned over, ready for belly rubs!!<br/><br/>Squeaky or Bouncy – What do you look for in a toy? Well.... I'm not really into toys a whole lot and I certainly don't go out looking for them. But, if a Squeaky, a Bouncy and a Fluffy were laying in the yard, I would probably pick up the Fluffy.<br/> <br/>What is your favorite season? Definitely winter!! That's when it's too cold outside and everyone just stays inside and gives belly rubs!!<br/><br/>Beach or Mountains? The Beach for sure! Chilin in the sand, with my person listening to the waves sounds like a dream.<br/><br/>Favorite movie? I guess I would have to say, "The Notebook". Allie may just be the luckiest girl ever. To have someone sit with her all day long, each and every day.... reading to her....petting her.... loving her, even after she is no longer a young pup..... Ahhhhh..... I get choked up every time with this one.<br/><br/>Car ride or long walks? I'm not real big on either.... can we add some playtime in the back yard to this one?<br/><br/>If you weren't a dog, what kind of animal would you want to be? A stuffed teddy bear for a kid to hold and sleep with every day.<br/><br/>What would constitute a perfect day for you? I already had that day..... The day I was rescued. I know I look like a healthy girl now, but that day I was half the weight that I am now. Even though I've gained almost 40 pounds, I still have some PTSD from it and an irrational fear of other dogs taking my food. I've talked it over with my doctor and foster mom and she just feeds me in my own quiet place so that I don't have any anxiety over it. I bet the day I get adopted will be a pretty perfect day too!<br/><br/>Anything else that you would like to add? I'm just a big, loving girl who wants my own person more than anything...... one that will still love me even when I don't remember it.<br/><br/>Thanks for being here Lucy!!
