Lucy<br/>2 years old<br/>Tan/white Pitbull<br/>Spayed female, fully vetted<br/><br/>Meet Lucy! Lucy is a 2 year old pittie girl who is the PERFECT size. Not too big, not too small... but her ears are definitely big enough to pick up satellite signals from space <br/><br/>Lucy is an extremely sweet and gentle soul, but she is also VERY shy and reserved when meeting new people. She needs humans who understand that trust takes time and patience. She is not aggressive... just a timid girl trying to figure the world out at her own pace. Once she feels safe though? Her adorable personality starts shining through!!!<br/><br/>Dogs: Dog friendly! While she isnt currently fostered with other dogs, she previously stayed with a blind and deaf dog for about a week and they became the cutest little besties! She has also met several dogs of different sizes, temperaments, genders, etc. she has done well with all the pups she has met that have been friendly towards her. She can be a bit sassy if strange dogs rush her while shes on leash (rightfully so), so slower and thoughtful introductions are best. Once she realizes another dog is her friend though, she really starts coming out of her shell. We think shed do great either as an only dog OR with a calm, confident dog sibling. She actually seems to benefit, shyness wise, when another dog is present... so that may be reason for her to be better off with some doggy siblings. But... truly we could see her thriving either way.<br/><br/>Cats: cat friendly! She currently lives with a cat in her foster home and coexists peacefully. She has also met multiple cats at our presidents home and at her first temp Fosters home!<br/><br/>Kids: She is currently being fostered with kiddos and is doing great! Overall she is neutral towards the kiddos, but respectful intros should still be taken into account since she is a shy girl! One of the kiddos is very rambunctious with unpredictable movements and she just makes space when she needs/wants to.<br/><br/>There are even backyard chickens at her foster home and Lucy simply ignores them. No fence fighting, no obsessing... she just minds her business like the polite lady she is <br/><br/>Lucy is truly one of the easiest dogs to have around. She is AMAZING in her crate and hardly makes a peep in or out of it, making her an absolute DREAM for apartment living or homes with shared walls. Seriously... she could probably win awards for how quiet and well behaved she is! Although... sometimes, when shes left to her own devices... she feels inclined to get into food containers. Key word being sometimes. Only when she wants to convince her foster mom she is being starved... drama queen lol.<br/><br/>And if you're a trucker looking for the ultimate passenger princess? Lucy says buckle up She is SO good in the car and would happily ride shotgun while judging everyone else's driving choices.<br/><br/>Lucy is overall pretty low energy, but she can absolutely match your vibe when needed! Want a hiking buddy? She's down. Want a couch potato companion? Perfect. Want a dog friend for your current pup? Shed probably love that too! Lucy also came to her foster home practically potty trained! She pulls a tiny bit on leash at first, but nothing wild or difficult.<br/><br/>And honestly? Photos do NOT do this girl justice. She is absolutely STUNNING in person and somehow even cuter once you meet her.<br/><br/>She has silly little zoomies, entertains herself with toys, and is just an overall easy peasy sweetheart looking for forever humans to call her own.
