Meet Lucy <br/>Looking for a sweet gal who simply wants to be by your side and left alone at other alone at other times, kind of like a cat. Lucy is an 8-year-old, long-bodied Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. She does better in a home with multiple dogs. <br/><br/>Lucy enjoys leisurely walks, meeting new people, and being part of whatever you’re doing. She’s mostly potty-trained, adaptable, and always ready to share her affection (and a few kisses, too).<br/><br/>Lucy originally found her forever home through Underdog about a year ago, but sadly, her adopter passed away, leaving Lucy and her furry housemates in need of new homes. Now back with us, she’s been nothing but a trooper—graciously accepting her small meals (she’s on a little weight-loss journey!) and daily eye drops for dry eye like a champ. She was adopted by an extended family and only liked the grandmother and was returned once again to Underdog for not bonding with everyone. She was then adopted by a single woman that expected a total companion and didn’t understand how Lucy is sometimes aloof. She would probably do best in a home with multiple dogs, where expectations of her and her alone are not overwhelming. <br/><br/>This mature gal has the perfect balance of mellow vibes and playful energy. She makes a surprisingly good little watchdog and an even better cuddle buddy.<br/><br/>Ready to give Lucy the loving home she deserves?
