Lucy's Story

Lucy is a very loving, affectionate rough coat Jack Russell Parsons terrier. She is fully house trained, crate trained, very smart, listens well, is not a picky eater and loves her humans. Lucy loves her car rides and loves her walks. Lucy is a very independent little girl who considers herself a princess and wants to be the only one in the home. She does not like other dogs and will lunge at them. If Lucy is forced to do something she does not want to do, She will not hesitate to snap at you and even bite if she is determined enough not to follow the request. 95% of the time Lucy is a sweetheart. Thus she needs someone with experience and patience with this true Jack Russell breed. Also a lovely fenced in yard would suit Lucy‘s tastes very well. The adoption fee for Lucy has been reduced to reflect her biting history. Lucy is lovingly homed in Palgrave.

Jack Russell Terrier Rescue Ontario (JRTRO)'s Adoption Policy

Adoption Fees, payable at the time of Adoption: Our adoption fees are as follows, effective January 1, 2021: Puppy age 1 year and under $525. If the puppy is too young to be altered a spay/neuter contract applies. There would be an additional $300 refundable when JRTRO receives a copy of the spay/neuter certificate for the puppy. Adult dogs 1-9 years $450 Senior dogs over 9 years $300 **Dogs with pre-existing health concerns will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. All fees go towards helping Jacks in need make the transition to their forever families. All adult and senior dogs have been spayed/neutered and all dogs are vaccine up-to-date and have had a general health check. Puppies may not have been spayed/neutered depending on their age. Should a dog have a medical issue diagnosed by our vet it will be treated prior to being adopted and disclosed in the adoption process. JRTRO places dogs in Ontario, Canada and on a few occasions, we’ve placed dogs in other provinces (provided the adoptee is able to come and meet the dog).
