Lucy's Story

Meet teeny-tiny Lucy
Lucy is an itty-bitty Chihuahua puppy who came to us after her previous owner, a person experiencing homelessness, could no longer care for her. She’s just 9 weeks old and only 2 pounds — truly a baby in every sense. Full grown, she’ll likely top out around 8 pounds of pure sweetness.

Lucy is gentle, sensitive, and still figuring out the world. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she’s very needy, cuddly, and people-oriented — exactly what you’d expect from an infant puppy who just wants reassurance and love.

Because she’s so young, Lucy has no training yet and will need a home that understands the commitment of raising a puppy from scratch. Her ideal home would be with someone who has lots of time, patience, and a willingness to invest in training, socialization, and confidence-building. A friendly, well-adjusted dog in the home would be a huge bonus to help show her the ropes.

Lucy will continue completing her puppy vaccinations over the next few months, so she won’t be able to safely go out in public until then — but she’s soaking up love and learning every day.

If you’re ready to commit to shaping a tiny soul into a confident, happy little dog, Lucy could be your girl.

First Step Is To Apply Now
[Apply Now](http://form.jotform.com/underdogca/dog-adoption-application)
For application updates, forwarding requests, or any questions, contact us at adopt@underdogca.com.
