Lucy's Story

Meet Lucy, a 2 year old, 22 pound Corgi–German Shepherd mix with the perfect blend of big dog heart and compact dog charm. With her expressive ears, soft eyes, and thoughtful nature, she’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply once she feels safe.Lucy can be a little cautious when meeting new people, especially men. She may voice her feelings at first — it’s simply her way of gathering information and making sure everything is okay. With patience, calm energy, and a little space to warm up at her own pace, she quickly realizes she’s among friends. Once that trust clicks, her affectionate side shines, and she becomes a loyal, loving companion. She’s also got a playful streak. When Lucy gets excited, she’ll give you a cheerful play bow and a few happy barks to invite you into the fun. The rest of the time, she’s mellow, easygoing, and content to relax by your side.Lucy is looking for someone who understands that good relationships take a moment to bloom — someone who appreciates a gentle dog with a soft heart, a silly side, and a whole lot of love to give. If you’re searching for a sweet companion who blossoms with trust and brings joy in her own thoughtful way, Lucy might be your perfect match. If you are interested in meeting Lucy please complete an Interest Form. An adoption counselor will contact you to schedule an appointment.
