What is Shelby County Animal Control Facility’s adoption process?

Our adoptable pets are examined by a veterinary technician, tested for heartworm disease (dogs) and FELV (cats), given their vaccine booster(s), and treated for fleas. Monetary Donations are much appreciated! Adopter will send proof back from your vet within 30 days of adoption, that you have complied with the contract.***
