Lucy's Story

Lucy is approximately 8-month-old pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She has a beautiful, darker coat with unique brown markings and the cutest white back paws. Her soulful brown/hazel eyes are full of curiosity and affection, and she’s always ready to make you smile whether it's licks or tricks!

Lucy was rescued as a tiny pup from a canyon near our home after being abandoned with her siblings (one sadly didn’t survive). A kind hiker found them hiding under a bush and carried them out two-by-two in his backpack. Our family chose to take in two of the girls—Lucy and her sister—who were about 7 weeks old at the time.

Lucy has grown into a smart, energetic dog who loves to jump, play, and boss around her sister. She’s currently living outside in a large yard with her sibling, and while they are truly bonded and often inseparable, they do get a little jealous when one gets attention and the other doesn’t (classic siblings!).

She’s was crate trained as a young pup, knows basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “shake,” and has started leash training. With consistency and love, Lucy will thrive in a home where she gets regular attention, structure, and exercise. She’s friendly, affectionate, and would make a wonderful companion dog for someone with the time and energy to help her continue to grow.

Lucy would do best in a home that can match her playful spirit and give her the love and security she deserves. She’s a one-of-a-kind pup looking for her one-of-a-kind person.
?
