Lucy's Story

Meet Lucy. She’s still looking for her forever home. She’s an almost 10-month old, 45 lbs Husky mix, probably shepherd, and is growing into a 100 % great dog. This spunky girl has got a little bit of a watch dog bark in her and a part-time hummingbird metabolism. She’ll need a forever home that likes to exercise and has a good yard for her zoomies – fenced preferred. She also has a good off switch and loves her couch and bed cuddles. Lucy would love a home with a dog-friendly furniture policy for snuggles. She would do well in a home with another dog. She’s been hanging with her 2 larger husky foster brothers and holds her own with bigger boys. She does well at dog parks and likes her current black lab neighbor dog. While we wouldn’t say she’s an escape artist, she could be if bored. She figured out how to use an air conditioning unit to jump the fence and visit her neighbor friend. She is crate trained and doesn’t mind sleeping in the crate at night – that’s the routine at her foster house. But if she could she’d jump in a people bed in a heartbeat.
