Lucy 10 Years Young Professional Cuddle Bug <br/><br/>Lucy lost the only home she'd ever known when both of her beloved owners passed away. <br/><br/>At ten years old, she and her sisters, Molly and Roxy, suddenly found themselves in an overcrowded, high-kill shelter, confused and facing an uncertain future. Thankfully, we were able to bring all three girls to safety, get them the veterinary care they needed, and place them in loving foster homes.<br/><br/>And the happy endings have already begun! Roxy has found her forever home and is doing wonderfully! Now it's Lucy and Molly's turn. <br/><br/>And Lucy? She's absolutely thriving!<br/><br/>Lucy is a gentle, easygoing sweetheart with a heart of gold. She's a certified cuddle bug who loves being close to her people, but she's also perfectly content to relax and enjoy the quieter things in life. She's crate-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and absolutely LOVES car rides! Whether you're heading out for a little adventure or spending a lazy afternoon at home, Lucy is happy just to be included.<br/><br/>She's wonderful with other dogs, has shown no signs of aggression or resource guarding, and has been an absolute dream in her foster home. She's also getting around beautifully for a girl her age! She doesn't need long hikes or endless entertainment. A few leisurely walks, a comfy place to nap, and someone to love are pretty much her idea of paradise.<br/><br/>A little about Lucy and her sister, Molly: These girls were raised together, and while we'd be delighted to see them adopted as a pair, they are independent girls who do not need to be adopted together. Lucy does find comfort and confidence in canine companionship, though, so we're looking for a home with at least one other friendly dog.<br/><br/>Lucy would be a wonderful fit for a calm, loving household where she can spend her golden years being cherished. She has so much love left to give, and after everything she's been through, we'd love nothing more than to see her find a family of her very own.<br/><br/>Roxy got her happy ending.
