LUCY's Story

I'm so pretty! I am very sweet, and I did great for my exam, vaccines, and some shaving (I had some matts) when I originally arrived at the shelter. I am food motivated...so food motivated that I have reportedly exhibited some resource guarding - the staff at the shelter can talk to you more about this if you would like to meet me and are interested in adopting me. I am overall a great dog and I know I'll do really well in a loving home! Thank you for considering me! Foster notes on Lucy: Lucy is such a sweet girl. She’s incredibly calm and mellow. She got into the car willingly and sat/laid down without complaint for the whole ride! She barely pulled on her leash (only if she reaaaaallly wanted to sniff something). She did not bark at other dogs and mostly just looked at them as we continued on our walk. She was VERY polite when accepting treats and would only eat them when placed on the floor first. She was a dream to spend the day with. She is so calm and sweet.
