Lucy's Story

Please contact Echo Dogs (adoptions@echodogs.org) for more information about this pet.BIO
Hello! My name is Lucy. I am a 5 month old happy little girl. My adoption will be conditional on my adopter having me spayed at 6 months of age, which will be April 2026. I am doing well with housetraining. I am working on my crate-training. Although I’m a really good girl and don’t seem to need to be crated when left alone. I usually just lay around with my foster siblings. There’s usually a lot of chew toys or yak chews around. I really love squeaky toys.
I’ve met a lot of different dogs, males, females, small dogs and some even bigger than me. It was great. I just want to play with everyone. I met cats and they were pretty cool too. I like meeting people even better. I like getting petted, but I really love getting belly rubs.
I like going for rides in the car. I pull a little on leash because there’s just so much to see out there. I know some commands like sit and I’m learning more like down, stay and drop it. When you tell me I’m a good girl and praise me I’ll even try harder. I’m still teething so just keep plenty of those teething toys around.
I would love to live with a family that will continue teaching me my commands. It would be great if they had fenced yard and maybe another dog for me to play with. Do you have someone for me to play with?

Follow me on Facebook: #EchoDogLucy2026
For more information, please contact adoptions@echodogs.org.

Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit www.echodogs.org/available-dogs to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
To review our adoption procedure and submit an online application, visit: www.echodogs.org/procedure
