Lucky SS

Lucky is one of those special dogs whose beauty goes far beyond her gorgeous red coat and soulful light-brown eyes. This sweet girl is happy and has playful personality to match her athletic good looks.

When Lucky arrived at Summit’s, she carried a visible reminder of a difficult past. She had a large scar that appeared to have been caused by a bird of prey. Although the wound had healed, it left the skin badly twisted and gathered, almost like a knot in a piece of fabric. Lucky recently underwent a major scar revision to repair the area, and she is healing beautifully.

But what makes Lucky so special is that she hasn't allowed her past to steal her joy. She is a happy, playful pup who is ready to embrace everything good that life has to offer.

Now Lucky needs someone to show her what forever really means- a safe home, a loving family, and someone who will cherish her for the wonderful dog she is.

She has already overcome so much. Now it's time for Lucky to have the happily-ever-after she deserves.

We estimate Lucky to have been born around 3.1.26 and she currently weighs about 40lbs. Lucky is with our partner shelter in Alabama, and will be transported north to Maine.

YOUR ADOPTION FEE COVERS: Transport to Maine, age specific vaccinations, Health certificate, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia test, worming & martingale collar.

Adoption fees:
Through 6 months of age $450;
7 months to through 5 years $400;
6 years and under 9 years $325: bonded pairs are $500;
9 years and older $250: bonded pairs are $300

This dog is available unless it is marked as Pending, meaning Pending Adoption.
