Lucky Jax is not an outdoor dog…<br/>Lucky Jax is a Soul Dog!!! He is a Family Dog!!!<br/><br/>Here's what he'd like you to know:<br/><br/>I'm as sweet and gentle as can be... and the friendliest dog around! I'm so playful, active, high energy, loving, goofy, and a huge teddy bear. I absolutely love to be anywhere my human is, as well as with other big, friendly, furry siblings to frolic in the yard with, share the couch with on movie nights, indulge in meals with, and go on camping explorations with. I love interaction – attention – playing with balls, toys, tug, and fetch – food & treats – and I do great in a large indoor crate if needed. But I prefer to sleep in the room with you as I'm a bit scared of abandonment since being dumped on the side of the frontage road by a human that I thought loved me. I don't have separation anxiety by any means. I just like to stay close when you're home with me. I can jump at least 6 feet in the air, on top of dog houses, and over fences. I’m also strong as can be, but don’t have an aggressive bone in my body. I’m actually super fun & silly, I take direction and commands very well, and love to go on walks. A large space to play around in with a high, secured fence to keep me from introducing myself to all the neighbors and losing my way back home… will be best. I’m also a scaredy cat with loud noises and storms, but we can bypass the fright by just keeping me inside. I’m such a good boy and won’t get in your way. I just like to feel safe. <br/><br/>I feel like I’d be a great addition to a family who cherishes their pets, and lives life to share adventures with them!!! But I’ve been bummed for several months having to hang out by myself in an enclosed yard while seeing the other foster dogs freely hanging out on the other part of the property. I just want to be with them doing the same thing. And so now, I’ve been itching and digging holes to try and calm my nerves. I’m so well-behaved and just want to be around others. I’ve taken many photos, videos, and testimonials to share my story. My adoption fee is only $150 and I’m currently being fostered in the surrounding Pecos, NM, area.
