About Our Hospice Program Grey Face Rescue & Retirement's Hospice Program is dedicated to senior dogs with limited life expectancies. We proudly pull dogs from humane euthanasia lists - often placed there simply due to age or illness - and give them the gift of comfort, dignity, and unconditional love. Our hospice seniors receive quality medical care, cozy beds, warm blankets, delicious treats, and plenty of affection. Sometimes that even includes a special trip for their favorite fast-food treat. Most importantly, they are given the chance to spend their remaining days, weeks, months, or even years feeling safe, cherished, and at peace. With your support, dogs like Walter can cross the Rainbow Bridge knowing they were deeply loved.
