Lucky's Story
Meet Lucky!

Lucky was surrendered to the shelter for not leaving the chickens alone — but don’t be too surprised, he’s a bird-hunting breed!

Lucky is about 7 years young, full of energy, eager to please, and great with other dogs. We’re not sure how he does with cats or kids yet, as his current foster home doesn’t have either.

He’s up to date on vaccines and will be neutered and have a dental cleaning in the next few weeks. He’ll also be microchipped before adoption.

Lucky is a quick learner! He’s already improving on leash manners and is kennel trained — he eats and sleeps in his crate. He’s very food-motivated, loves chew toys, and hasn’t chewed on anything he shouldn’t. He’ll come with belly bands just in case.

His ideal home would have a fenced yard and someone who can keep him both mentally and physically stimulated — he’s a working dog at heart!

If you’d like to meet Lucky, he’s currently being fostered in West Jordan, UT.
