Meet Lucky (formerly Chowder), a lovable, cuddly, high-spirited German Shepherd/Husky mix ready to find his forever home. Lucky is great with kids, potty trained, thrives on treat-based training, loves running, and enjoys a good brushing session. Our mother daughter volunteer duo Jen & Alice took Lucky out for an adventure outside of the shelter in hopes of getting him seen, shared, and adopted. They had the best day with Lucky who loved the car ride and all the new smells at the beach. While he was curious about the water, he wasn't quite ready to go in. ?? He did amazing meeting people out on a lunch date and ended the day with a shopping spree at the pet store. He is a 6 year old husky/shepherd mix who has done well with kiddos in foster. Unfortunately we have over 50 shepherd mixes at the shelter, and poor Lucky has been overlooked in shelter since December of last year. :( Make Lucky's day by adopting or fostering!
