LUCKY

Lucky (A546639) has a question that even we are struggling to answer. Why has he not been adopted yet? He has officially hit the one month mark with us and is now considered a long stay, which means our mission is to finally get this sweet boy into a real home. Lucky is one of those dogs who captures you immediately. He walks beautifully on a leash, shows signs of being house trained, and already knows how to sit for treats. He will rest his head in your lap and lean his whole body into you for pets, like he has been waiting his entire life for someone to notice how gentle and loving he is. He truly is a polite little gentleman in everything he does. He has tested well with other dogs, though he prefers coexisting over rough play. Lucky is more of a go with the flow companion than a wild child. He simply wants someone to love, follow around, and be near. Lucky is estimated to be around 4 years old and weighs 45 pounds. All animals adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are microchipped, appropriately vaccinated, spayed/neutered and given a 30 day flea/tick preventative. Ready to meet Lucky? Stop by 4950 Triana Blvd SW in Huntsville, Alabama. No appointment is necessary to meet our available animals. All adopters must be 19 years or older and be able to provide a valid ID.
