Lucinda is a 1.5 year old Staffie girl that weighs 90 pounds and was taken in from Walker County Animal Shelter. My name is Lucinda, or Lucy, or LuLu. I am the friendliest hippo you will ever meet, still mastering the swimming technique, but love getting in the water. I am friendly to other dogs and humans. I love to walk and sometimes like to take breaks to sun bathe. I would best benefit from a dog only family that loves walks and playing tug of war. She has the prettiest gray fur and most striking eyes. She will "sit" for snacks:) We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only. The adoption fee is $135 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter. The adoption fee includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, FELV/FIV test (cats), heartworm test & preventative (dogs), flea preventative, dewormer, microchip, & spay or neuter. Our adoption fees are as follows: Kittens (up to 6 months): $100 Cats (> 6 months): $85 Puppies (up to 6 months): $160 Dogs (>6 months): $135 Adoption fees may change for purebred, pedigree, or specialty mix breeds. Will offer discounts for senior pets and those with special medical or behavioral needs.
