Lucille's Story

Lucille is a wiggly little lady with a soft, sweet side just waiting to shine. Once she feels comfortable, she absolutely melts for belly rubs, happily climbs into your lap, and never says no to a tasty treat.
She came to Mountain Humane with nine other under-socialized poodle-mix pups, but Lucille has proven to be one of the most social of the group. She may do a little "tap dance" in her kennel when unsure, but with gentle encouragement (and a few treats), she finds her way back with growing confidence.
Lucille is still learning about the world and will need continued socialization and positive experiences. With patience and a slow approach, she'll blossom into a loving, loyal companion.
