Lucas Ray Jackson

Lucas could be a Walmart greeter! This handsome guy draws a crowd and loves lots of attention! He has graced nursing homes and medical clinics, leaving many smiles behind! At 7 years old, Lucas is looking for a home with a fenced yard and a person he can hang out with. He enjoys walks, but his reactiveness towards things speeding by (bikes, cars, dogs on leashes, critters, etc) makes him a lot to handle on a leash, but with consistency that could be trained out of him. He is quite happy with car rides and just hanging out at home with his person! He loves to sunbathe! He has a loud bark which would scare off any strangers, but if they took a moment to make eye contact with him, they would see a dog wagging its tail waiting to be pet! <br/>He requires grooming and absolutely loves it! He is extremely smart and can learn new tricks, and he can read your mind before you even know what you’re thinking! <br/>Mainly, he is just an awesome companion who misses being in a home with the person he bonded to. He would make excellent company for a homebody looking for a buddy, or as a therapy dog by someone physically capable to take him to meet those in need. <br/>He has not been around kids and he is selective with cats.
