Poor Lucas found himself at the shelter due to a change in his family's living situation, but his loving spirit remains as bright as ever. Lucas is incredibly friendly and playful, always ready for a game or a long walk to burn off some energy. He’s good with other dogs, making him a great companion for furry friends. In the colder months, you’ll find him lounging by the fireplace, soaking up the warmth. He knows several commands, including sit, stay, down, and come, and he’s comfortable being left alone without the need for a crate. Lucas is housebroken and loves to sleep in his doggie bed, preferably in his owner’s bedroom. One of his favorite activities is relaxing in the float in the pool—a true testament to his laid-back nature. Given his size, Lucas would be best suited for a home with older children who understand how to interact with a larger dog. He doesn’t realize his size and might accidentally knock over smaller kids.
