Lucas prefers to be the only dog in his home; he truly loves having all the attention to himself; his big personality easily fills the room with joy, laughter, and love.<br/><br/>This handsome pup is still growing and learning. Lucas would thrive with a confident, experienced handler who understands large breeds and can offer consistent structure, patience, and positive training. He's a quick learner and loves having tasks, enrichment activities, and plenty of playtime throughout the day to keep his body and mind busy.<br/><br/>Lucas needs a home with a secure, tall, fenced yard (perferably not rirght next to another dog's fence) and at least one active human who can devote time to him and his training. He's a strong boy who enjoys outdoor adventures but is still mastering his leash manners. Because he can be startled by loud noises like fireworks, thunder, or lawn mowers, a calm home with space to retreat would help him feel safe and comfortable. No young children due to his size and energy.<br/><br/>He's got a few puppy habits—like counter surfing and exploring things he shouldn't—but with consistent guidance and love, he'll continue to grow into the loyal, well-mannered companion he's meant to be. Lucas sleeps peacefully in his own room at night and loves his routine of regular potty breaks and play sessions.<br/><br/>Lucas is looking for a person(s) that will see how amazing he is and see what an extraordinary heart BIG heart he has. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.
