Luca would hide in the forest nearby during the hot summer, and waited for his owner to come back at night when it was cooler. Once Luca was rescued, we found out that Luca tested positive for heartworms. But with the proper treatment, Luca is now heartworm free as of August 2024💜 Luca starts shy/timid at first, but he gets friendly and cuddly very quickly to be loved by people!🐶 Luca is playful and likes to be active and enjoys chasing and “hunting” for birds/squirrels🐾 Luca is a quick learner and will be your best friend forever! 💜🐶 You can find more photos/videos of Luca @lovemin_0815 Located in the DMV area 🐶 2 years old 🦴 Male 💪 30 lbs 👶🏻 Good with Kids 🏡 Good with People 🐩 Good with Dogs 🐱 untested with Cats ● Spayed

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES: • US residents only • 24 years of age (drivers license or passport required as a form of ID) • All children are age 6 or older • No restrictions on pets by landlord (must receive written consent) • Provide photos of your home, including bedroom • Financially willing and able to properly care for dog for remainder of its life • Must create separate IG account for adopted dog - to provide updates ADOPTION PROCESS (1-2 weeks): • Fill out the adoption application below with a specific dog(s) you wish to adopt from @KpupsForLove • Adoption screening interview via phone call with our team ONLY IF your application reflects our criteria • Reference checks • After screening steps, you will be notified ONLY IF your adoption application is approved • Our volunteers will work with you to finalize the adoption - sharing your new dog’s medical records, scheduling a date of your dog’s arrival, and sending detailed pick-up instructions.
