He has a calm, thoughtful nature and is always tuned in to what’s going on around him—quickly picking up on routines and forming strong connections with his people.<br/><br/>Luca may be a little shy at first, but give him a moment and he’ll warm up beautifully. His sweet, affectionate personality is well worth the wait, and once he’s comfortable, he truly enjoys being part of the family.<br/><br/>He has a playful side without being over-the-top and especially loves his tennis balls—whether he’s kicking them around or proudly carrying one with him, they’re definitely his favorite. He also enjoys spending time outside and will happily entertain himself or join in on playtime. When the day winds down, Luca is all about the ear rubs and quiet affection, soaking up attention and relaxing by your side.<br/><br/>Luca does great with kids and other dogs, showing an easygoing and friendly demeanor that makes him a wonderful fit for many homes. He’s also off to a great start with his routine, sleeping soundly in his crate from 9:30pm to 6am.<br/><br/>With his gentle spirit, curious mind, and loving nature, Luca is sure to form a deep bond with his family and become a loyal, lifelong companion.<br/><br/>Luca is a 4-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Luca is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.<br/><br/>The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.<br/><br/>We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)<br/><br/>Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.<br/><br/>Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).<br/><br/>For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org.
