Meet Lu! (aka Blue Baloo)<br/><br/>Lu is a 1.5-year-old large, beautiful boy with a chocolate coat and soulful brown eyes. He’s a handsome, energetic young dog with a big personality, a sharp mind, and a playful spirit.<br/><br/>Lu is highly food-motivated and loves chew toys and bones, which makes training both fun and rewarding. He’s an incredibly smart dog who already knows an impressive variety of commands, including both single and compound cues. Even more impressive, Lu understands commands in English, Spanish, and French, making him a truly clever pup who thrives on learning and mental stimulation.<br/><br/>He is crate trained and has been making great progress with his leash skills. While he used to pull on walks, consistent training has helped him become more patient and focused. Lu enjoys structured play like fetch and catch, watching the world from the window, and especially loves playing outside—snow days are one of his favorites.<br/><br/>Lu does have a natural prey drive and enjoys watching squirrels and birds, so he would do best with an adopter who understands this and can continue guiding him appropriately. He is currently living with two cats and has been slowly learning how to coexist with them through careful introductions and management.<br/><br/>Diet-wise, Lu appears to have a chicken allergy and does best on a fish-based diet. Some of his favorite treats include peanut butter, bananas, and yogurt.<br/><br/>Lu thrives with calm, confident, and consistent leadership. With clear structure and guidance, he truly shines and continues to show just how bright and capable he is.<br/><br/>Lu is a loyal, affectionate dog looking for a home that will continue his training, provide enrichment, and help him grow into the incredible companion he is meant to be.
