Loving Makayla

This unbelievably gorgeous, equally as sweet, incredible girl is Makayla! This darling pup was abandoned with a group of dogs and has been an absolute angel from the moment animal control came for her! She is incredibly beautiful, but you can tell she has just the most incredible temperament, pure sweetness!!! Everyone at the pound fell head over heels in love with her and immediately advocated for her rescue. Fortunately a wonderful foster home agreed to take this girl in so she could officially be safe and surrounded by love until she finds the home of her dreams!<br/>Makayla is about 2 years old and is a perfectly petite 35 lbs! She seems to be a blend of bully and heeler, and perhaps some frenchie (perfect frenchie ears!). Whatever combination she is, she is simply perfect!! She’s been to the vets and had all medical work completed! She’s current on vaccines, deworming, preventative, heartworm tested negative, she’s been microchipped and is now spayed! She’s a healthy happy girl who is officially ready for adoption!<br/>This girl has an absolutely remarkable temperament! From the moment she came into foster care she made fast friends with everyone in the household! She is more extroverted and loves making friends anywhere she goes! She’s excellent with the cat in her foster home and has been easy going with any animal she has been introduced to! She absolutely LOVES other dogs and loves to run, play, and wrestle with them! She can keep up with anyone and has slightly fallen in love with a male shepherd in her foster home (he is also searching for a home!) and the two of them have a wonderful time playing together. She would love a home where she will have doggy playmates! Either in the household or through socializing, she will love do have doggy friends to play and snuggle with. <br/>Makayla (for short, they call her May:), she is doing wonderfully with house training and is reliably going potty outside. She has medium energy and is the kind of girl who’s ready to go for a hike, car ride, camping trip, beach trip, errands to Home Depot, you name it and this girl is ready! But she balances that out with such an easy going snuggly personality at home. She is always ready for a cozy movie night, especially in these winter months. She loves to be all cuddled up warm in blankets snuggling with her humans! She also sleeps with her foster parents through the night like a champ! She’s been great on the leash, loves toys, and loves to carry stuffies around in her mouth.
